Ski/Board team on snow practice Saturday, 8th of Dec. at Sierra at Tahoe

We have our first snow practice on Saturday.  We need drivers to get the team up to Sierra and back.  As mentioned below, in order for you to do this, you have to complete volunteer driver form.  The link is in the original email below.

The form must be completed and turned into the school by WEDNESDAY for you to qualify to drive by Saturday.   Please let Susan know if you are able to drive. You can reach Susan at (510) 507-0541 or by email at susanstoefflermft@gmail.com

Recall, we meet at 6 am in the bus circle at EDHS.  We leave at 6:15 sharp.  We then meet up at Safeway in Pollock Pines at 6:30.   We generally leave Sierra at 3pm.  You are required to take home who you brought up.  We will be taking role as well.

On another note, if you are in the market for a FIS Approved helmet, please let me know.  If we get 6-8, we can get Shred helmets that are normally $159 for about $85 from Clarks.  We can only do this in a group purchase.  PLEASE email or text me back if you are interested.   Clarks donated a Shred Helmet for our Snow Dance and it was great to see that one of our freshman parents won it!

Our first official snow practice as you know is 12/8.  In order to shuttle all the kids up to Sieara-at-Tahoe, we need parent volunteers to drive up and back.  We use carpools as much as possible to avoid the $1,000 it costs to use a bus for each trip.

Please make sure you download the form from our website.  The link is below.  This is required to be completed and approved by the school before you can drive.  We only have just over a week!

Susan Roemer is our carpool coordinator. You will be hearing from her and please reach out to let her know if you can help on Saturday’s.  The more we have the better.  You can reach Susan at (510) 507-0541 or by email at susanstoefflermft@gmail.com

We also get a lot of information out on our Facebook page.  Please like and follow it.  Make sure you turn on the notifications.  Here is the link..  https://www.facebook.com/EDHSSkiBoardTeam/

We still need volunteers for our Snow Dance Saturday!  We hope you all can make it.  Spread the word!

One last thing.  Is there any interest in going in on a race helmet purchase?  If we have enough interest, we may get a good deal.  Please let us know. On another note, if you are in the market for a FIS Approved helmet, please let me know.  If we get 6-8, we can get Shred helmets that are normally $159 for about $85 from Clarks.  We can only do this in a group purchase.
